About Peter Korsten

Peter is the Global Leader of Thought Leadership & Eminence for IBM Global Business Services division. In this role, he leads the IBM Institute for Business Value (the business think tank of IBM), the Customer Experience Lab (for deep analytics and user experience innovation), the Global Benchmarking Team and the IBM Eminence and Speaker Program. Before that, he led IBM’s Customer Value Strategy with over 1,500 staff, and the Digital Front Office initiative. He is also a member of GBS’s Senior Leadership Team.

From 1998-2008, Peter was IBM’s, and before that PwC Consulting’s Leader of Corporate Strategy, Organization Design and Change Management practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa – which he grew to over 1,500 consultants.
Before PwC he worked with The Boston Consulting Group since 1990, after completion of his Dean's list IMD MBA. Peter has concentrated his work on consumer goods and industrial companies. He is a recognized expert in contemporary strategy, and has consulted for a wide array of Fortune Global 500 organizations.
