ServicePac for Warranty and Maintenance Options: Prerequisites

Prerequisites to qualify for upgrading your IBM in-warranty maintenance.
Prerequisites
  • Your machine type/model and serial number are required before your transaction can be processed.
  • For onsite 24x7x2 hour service for servers and server peripherals, equipment must be in one of the eligible U. S. metropolitan locations.
  • Warranty service upgrades (WSU) can be ordered only for machines that were released and purchased in the United States.
  • Warranty service upgrades must be purchased during your original product warranty period and the service period begins with the date of equipment purchase.
  • Upgrade services are available only for the machines listed in the supported products list. Special bid machines are not eligible.
  • Only non-configured server peripherals are eligible for warranty service upgrades.
