IBM® Installation Services Enables WebSphere® Payment Manager for AIX® with WebSphere Commerce Suite is designed to provide scalable and security-rich electronic payment processing for your online store to help address these challenges. Prerequisites: Hardware

• An IBM RISC System/6000 or pSeries processor
• A minimum of 512MB of random access memory (RAM)
• A minimum of 250MB of disk space for WebSphere Payment Manager
• Sufficient disk space to accommodate your WebSphere Payment Manager database requirements
• A minimum of 10 MB of free space in the temporary directory (/tmp)
• A CD-ROM drive
• A Local Area Network (LAN) adapter that supports the TCP/IP protocol
• To access the WebSphere Commerce Suite Administrator Console, a personal computer capable of running Microsoft® Windows NT®, Windows 98, or Windows 2000®, including a graphics capable monitor with a color depth of at least 256 colors.

Software

• Existing functional WebSphere Commerce Suite Pro Version 5.1 for AIX
• On the machine where Payment Manager will be installed:
  • IBM AIX Version 4.3.3 at minimum fileset level of 4.3.3.10
  • The following file sets must also be installed to support the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 3.5:
    - bos.rte 4.3.3.0
    - X11.adt.lib 4.3.3.0
    - X11.adt.motif 4.3.3.0
    - bos.adt.include
    - bos.adt.profile
  • Netscape Communicator for AIX Version 4.7i or later
• Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1 or later for Windows 2000, Windows NT or Windows 98
• Existing functional TCP/IP network with a dedicated Internet connection of at least 56 kbps
• Registered domain name (for example, www.customername.com) with a static IP address (DHCP address is not acceptable)
• Installation media for WebSphere Payment Manager and the SET or CyberCash Cassette. These CDs are included in IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite Pro Edition for AIX Version 5.1

Note, if WebSphere Payment Manager will be implemented on your WebSphere Commerce Suite system, you already have the required prerequisites necessary to complete this Services engagement. If WebSphere Payment Manager will be installed on a system that is remote from your WebSphere Commerce Suite system, the above prerequisites apply.
