Protection Express is a comprehensive business recovery solution for selected iSeries systems. This offering provides small and medium businesses the convenience of business recovery at an affordable price. It is available from Business Continuity and Resiliency Services and IBM Business Partners.

With Protection Express, IBM will quick-ship an iSeries to your designated location. You can then restore your applications - and get your business running smoothly again! (The system can be used for up to six weeks.)

Flexible options

  • iSeries Mobile Recovery Center: In the event your facility is not available, you can relocate your IT operations to our mobile recovery center. Our mobile recovery centers are strategically located throughout North America and can be shipped to an appropriate destination of your choice in a timely fashion. This option provides temporary recovery space for the Protection Express iSeries system and your IT operations.
  • Infrastructure Recovery Services for the mid-market - iSeries system restore test: Test the restoration of your backup tapes. Our skilled iSeries professionals will test the recoverability of your tapes, restore them and document any findings during the restore process. Based on their findings, our experts will provide recommendations to assist you with improving your backup process. For additional assurance, you can remotely connect to the system and conduct a four-hour test of your applications through IBM’s remote customer access feature.
