Our previous research has proven that a majority of organizations are using big data and analytics to create a competitive advantage. If most organizations are using analytics to improve customer interactions, optimize supply chains and reduce financial risk then where does the advantage in today's marketplace come from? The T&D IBV 2014 study will examine how organizations are creating a competitive advantage in today's data-driven marketplace.
The scope of the research will span the analytic competencies of data management, data analysis and organizational actions to understand the key drivers to value creation from the use of information and analytics.
Based on this research, the study will offer recommendations and practical actions organizations can selectively and strategically take within these key analytic capabilities to optimize the value from analytics resources and investments based to stay ahead of the game into today's fast-paced digitized marketplace.
The online survey will be available until August 31 to anyone who is responsible for, managing, using or analyzing data within their organization. The survey will be offered in seven languages. Survey respondents are expected to invest about 15 minutes to complete the survey, and in return, can register to be one of the first to receive the research report when it is published in the fall of 2014.
