The IBM Internet Security Systems (ISS) X-Force research and development team provides the foundation for a pre-emptive approach to Internet security. The X-Force team is one of the best-known commercial security research groups in the world. This group of security experts researches and evaluates vulnerabilities and security issues, develops assessment and countermeasure technology for IBM ISS products and educates the public about emerging Internet threats.
