Our server specialists can leverage extensive expertise and knowledge of zEnterprise and z/OS® technology to provide a comprehensive implementation and migration service designed to help mitigate potential risks and accelerate the adoption of the zEnterprise technology. Our four-day, fixed-price, fixed-scope service includes:
- Identification of operating system (OS)—z/OS, z/VM® and z/VSE®—and subsystem—DB2®, CICS®, IMS™—maintenance
- Review and update of your hardware, network and storage provisioning
- Review and update of your I/O configuration, VTAM definition, TCP/IP parm settings and LPAR configuration, as well as assistance with Open System Adaptor (OSA) implementation
On top of the four-day standard service, IBM Implementation Services for System z – zEnterprise setup and migration comes with three optional modules to help accelerate the deployment of required components of your infrastructure to zEnterprise. These modules can be acquired using a recommended number of on-site daily assist features. They are:
