If a disaster rendered your facility unavailable, where would you recover your business operations? Where would your people go if their offices were not available? The growth of distributed computing and the cooperative processing environments of today's workplace demands a shift in focus from recovery planning to business continuity. For many businesses, the entire working environment has become the data center, making the protection of critical applications and information even more challenging. Just providing alternative end user space and PC equipment is no longer a viable strategy.
Our recovery options for workplace environments provides a full complement of facilities, multivendor equipment, services and skills to support the continuity of your workplace no matter what form it takes. We offer a complete alternate workplace solution. Your people are your most valuable asset. We ensure that disruptions to your existing workplace do not affect the productivity of your work force.
An effective business environment
At the heart of our workplace recovery portfolio are our sophisticated recovery sites. These hardened sites offer an alternative working environment for your people with or without technology, with a capacity of 25-500 users, allowing access to 3,500 end user workplace positions worldwide. Each offers access to applications via network infrastructure, state-of-the-art PC technology and full function voice technology.
Fully transportable workplace
Our modular and mobile units further enhance our ability to provide facilities where and when you need them. These facilities can be configured as data/command centers or as sophisticated end user or call center facilities that can support over 400 users.
Our modular recovery units are ergonomically designed buildings that be delivered to your site complete with customised PC server and workstation technology and sophisticated voice/Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) solutions. The modular units can be outfitted within 24-96 hours and come equipped with generators, HVAC and LAN cabling. They can also include other amenities such as rest rooms and lounges. Our mobile units provide additional recovery options. These units offer self-contained, custom configured trailers that can serve as command centers or come equipped with end user workspace for up to 150 users. These end user units consist of pre-configured PC workstations with a LAN infrastructure. The units are fully equipped with generators and HVAC, and arrive within 48 hours of an outage emergency declaration.
Temporary hardware replacement
We also offer a program to manage the delivery of specific IT platforms and components to a location designated by you. This function provides temporary hardware replacement for most PC/LAN environments. Servers, workstations, hubs and routers from multiple vendors can be shipped to arrive within 24 hours of an outage emergency declaration to the location of your choice. The equipment arrives custom configured and pre-loaded with Operating System (O/S) and Network Operating System (NOS) software in sturdy customised shipping cases that allow you to remove the hardware and immediately place it in your center.
