Service detail The IBM Service Center - acts as the IBM command center - helping ensure system performance, reliability, and high levels of availability. The center provides tools which serve as a "health check" for applications and the infrastructure. Highlights | | | End-to-end monitoring of applications, databases, operating system, servers and infrastructure components, and networks -- 24x7x365 |
 | | | Integrated Event Management System |
 | | | Portfolio of knowledge modules, which determine appropriate performance levels for various applications and infrastructure components |
 | | | A staff of experts to create, manage and maintain a large portfolio of knowledge modules, enabling IBM to monitor various aspects of your application including niche and custom elements |
 | | | Proactive, event-triggered alarms sent to the appropriate engineers when predetermined performance thresholds are not met |
 | | | Service level agreement compliance and performance reporting |

These tools help enable us to serve you better by: - Setting thresholds for the entire IT stack (application, database, system, security or network performance) and monitoring against those thresholds using the latest technology
- Identifying and resolving problems, frequently before you become aware of them
- Performing root cause analysis to help eliminate repetitive problems and deliver permanent correction
We operate with full-time staff 24x7 manning the service centers, providing monitoring and support. IBM operates two geographically-dispersed centers to provide full redundancy and enhanced recovery in the event of a disaster.
