The Security Strategist Awards acknowledged the best thinkers and doers in the information security space across industry verticals

In the category of Technology and Communications, the nominees were Zensar Technologies, IBM Daksh, and Bharti Airtel. IBM Daksh was the winner of this category and Shobit Mahajan collected the trophy on behalf of Nandita Jain Mahajan, VP-Information Security, IBM Daksh. Nandita Jain Mahajan pointed out, “There are a few things that have contributed to our victory. This included a flawlessly executed strategy and execution roadmap. We innovated and the automation and implementation of several tools improved our controls posture and increased our efficiency manifold. We received a patent for an innovation in Voice Masking. Standard, consistent processes implemented globally across 25 locations and 2 countries, which have matured substantially in the last two years, and our focus on people helped. We have an excellent security team that is highly qualified and competent, an aware workforce trained on security dos and don’ts. And, finally, I guess it was the conviction of having achieved an excellent controls posture while increasing our customer and employee satisfaction that led to a good final presentation to the jury.”
