Bill leads a team of 1200 consultants the Global Finance, Risk, and Fraud practice for IBM Global Business Services (GBS). These services help clients transform the finance function to be more strategic, address new risks and challenges, and drive enterprise-wide profit improvement by fighting fraud.

Bill is a globally recognized expert in transforming the finance function. His client experience includes numerous finance transformation projects, including process re-design, enhancing data consistency, developing target operating models and advanced analytics. Under his leadership, IBM’s 2010 CFO Study, entitled “The New Value Integrator” and the 2014 CFO Study, entitled “Pushing the Frontiers,” defined the future of the finance organization.
Previously, he was US Financial Services Leader in the Strategy & Transformation practice. He delivered solutions to financial services clients on strategy, process improvement, core financial services supply chain processes, risk and compliance, and customer innovation. He has also been a Partner, Global Financial Management Leader, for IBM GBS; a Partner, Financial Services Practice at Pricewaterhouse Coopers; and Director & Assistant to the CEO at Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
