You can estimate the monthly cost for running a workload on IBM SmartCloud Enterprise with our estimator tool. Enter the details of the workload configuration you intend to use, and the tool converts it into a monthly budgetary estimate based on the Charges Schedule. The first screen includes some sample configurations to get you started.
The tool works the same way as the Cloud Web portal:
- Select the software images for the machines you intend to use.
- Choose the sizes of the machines and how long you will have them running.
- Add a reserved capacity package, persistent storage, network access or support options as required, and assess your needs for Internet data transfer and persistent storage for your private images.
As you add and subtract product features, the tool keeps track of your estimated monthly cost. When you are finished, you can print the results or save them to your computer.
